Accommodation

Villa Bayu Segara offers 3 fully airconditioned bedrooms all with private ensuite bathrooms. Two bedrooms on the first floor  have nice pool-, river- and garden view, one on the second floor with fantastic ocean- and garden view.

Master Suite

The master bedroom embraces a warm darkred theme with  white cool stone floor and a built-in daybed in front of a window with a waterfall leading to a small pond.

Sliding doors lead to a small pond and into the garden on one side and on the entrance side you have a wonderful view to the infinity pool  and the wide garden  and the river which are directly in front.

The bedroom offers a  built-in dressing room with elegant teak wood furniture and safety box.

The free standing king size and canopied bed is the only object in the bedroom. Behind the bed you enter the open air  master bathroom with double wash basin, rain shower and a separate toilet.

A highlight is the white terrazzo bathtub standing in front of a panorama window which gives you a relaxing view to a fountain and the tropical garden with the river in the background outside.

The downstairs guest bedroom

The  guest bedroom  on the first floor has a large window with garden view to the front of the villa and also a nice view to the pool and river on the  garden wing  side. The entrance is  either by a normal teakwood door inside the house or through  sliding glass doors from the terrace. The room interior  is characterized by a green theme. The king size and also canopied bed  invites the guest to relax and fall into sweet dreams under  green colors. The elegant teak wood furniture with built-in wardrobe with safety box and a small desk for amenities  offer all facilities you need in a bedroom. A sliding door leads to the outdoor open air bathroom with double wash basin, separate toilet, a wall with water cascade next to the rain shower and a small pond with potted plants and a nice view to the garden .

The upstairs guest bedroom

The upstairs bedroom is entered by a staircase and through a gallery leading to the upstairs partly thatched big terrace. The sliding glass doors open to an orange themed bedroom  with king size and conopied teak wood bed with a small writing table and a seat on one side. On the other side  sliding glass doors open up to the big upstair terrace which offers you lounge chairs to relax  and enjoy the fantastic Ocean view  to your left side and to the rich tropical garden in front until the surrounding river; to your right side you  have a nice view to the swimmingpool. On the back of the room you find  your ensuite bathroom directly under the grass roof construction  with teakwood built-in wardrobe and safety box, wash basin, big mirror and separate toilet and a rain shower on the other side.

Living and Dining

There is plenty of  space in- and outdoor which can be enjoyed for living and dining.

On the ground floor the entrance hall opens up to a spacious indoor living room with an L-shaped sofa and an ottoman with coffee table  which invites you to sit down and relax, maybe for watching a movie on the flat screen TV or listen to music from the surrounding multimedia system . If you desire some tropical sounds of the garden, then the entrance hall leads to the right side to the thatched terrace next to the pool inviting you to be lazy there  in one of the lounge chairs  or sip a long drink  under the cooling fan.  Or just go and have a look in our small library for an entertaining book to read.

From the living room big sliding glass doors  can be moved away  to the covered  54 sqm terrace and allow the breeze to whisper through the whole villa. The terrace with broad stairs in front  leads to the garden  and is perfect for fine dining. An elegant teakwood dining table with  8 seats  is positioned on a bright cool stone floor and makes a unique dining experience  somehow outdoor but with all the luxury of a covered restaurant. The tropical garden view and a contemporary statue with water cascade on your backside exudes an aura of  simplicity and exquisity.

For a smaller dinner setting you have also the option to sit inside with pool view at a modern teak wood table with two  benches and enjoy any meal there – it is perfect for breakfast or any kind of snack.

A highlight for sure will be the hide away dining area which is located directly in the tropical garden hidden behind nice flowers where you will find a big platform which is overhanging to the surrounding river offering you the ideal location for a romantic candle light dinner. It has an outdoor dining table with 6 chairs.

Garden and Pool

Hidden behind private walls  you enter the property  through a modern Balinese gate with grass roof. While your driver is parking the car in the carport you step  over to a small water garden with a pond of flowers.  A straight  path  paved with white  stones  and  illuminated by stone carved garden lights in the evening lead you towards the main entrance of the villa. To you right hand side there is a small organic garden with fruit trees and some herbs used for cooking.

The beautiful garden mostly extends to the eastern side behind the villa. It is punctuated with palm trees and you can find many flowers and a rich tropical athmospere there.  A highlight for sure are  many different butterflies which come every morning into the garden. From the terrace on the south side the 12×5 m infinity pool is ending in a wide lawn with view into a rich green ambience on the river edge.  On the north side the dining terrace has its continuation in a  pathway with white stones which takes you  to another small round pond of Lotus. Once you have walked over it the path takes you right away towards the two storey Gazebo `Bale bengong` where you can either  enjoy a soothing spa treatment downstairs in total privacy or you can also go upstairs and sit down in another lounging area in order to face the breathtaking views to  the ocean, the mountains, the river and the garden and let the soft breeze of the ocean take your thoughts away. Next to the Gazebo you find the typical Balinese Hindu temple. The 12x5m  swimming pool is directly connected to the villa lounging terrace  facing to the east  so that you can enjoy the first morning sun in the refreshing water. It has an infinity edge towards the garden and offers two sundecks with sunbeds in order  to relax under a parasol and read a book there.

Kitchen

The villa has a fully equipped open and modern kitchen. It features a bar area with bar chairs, a wine cooler and a built-in water dispenser. There you can enjoy your first drink. The kitchen itself has dark brown furniture with granite top, gas stove, microwave and a big refrigerator as well as a coffee machine. The   cook will be more than happy to  prepare  all the desired meals for you and serve them upon request.
